We have lovely pictures of the kids all dressed in their Easter clothes - mostly complaining about the cold, or the uncomfortable shoes, or the fact that they weren't allowed to eat their candy in church - but I thought I'd spare you, and show you their handiwork instead.
One of the advantages of having older kids is that they're able to do the egg dyeing without much help from us - and they don't break nearly of them when they drop them into the dye. In a true Easter miracle, there wasn't even much fighting over the egg dyeing this morning.
I will show you one picture of our youngest - in an aggressive move at the Easter Egg hunt:
I think we ought have taught him that hunting Easter eggs isn't a contact sport.
Now I just have to figure out how to get the grass stains out of his sport coat!
It's a cold Annapolis Easter, but there are signs everywhere that Spring is on the horizon.
Now - please excuse me. I have to finish a ham, potatoes au gratin and asparagus lunch/dinner.
