Such a Civilized Start to the New Year

All kids were back in school and a quick day trip to the National Gallery to see the Edward Hopper exhibit, and the J.M.W. Turner exhibit started the new year off right.

I caught glimpses of work by Calder, Van Gogh, Matisse, Rauschenberg and more - can't wait to go back for an extended visit. Now that's a national treasure ----- and it's free!
